The Opera Yerevan is an important cultural landmark in Armenia's capital Yerevan. Officially named the Armenian National Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet, the building was designed by the renowned Armenian architect Alexander Tamanian and opened in 1933. It is known for its impressive architecture, which combines classical and national style elements, and for its outstanding acoustics.
