Our faux leather is crafted from renewable, natural resources like tree and green waste – completely free from fossil fuels such as petroleum in PVC production. Instead of fossil-based ethylene, we use ethylene derived from Crude Tall Oil (CTO), a by-product of the forestry industry.
By utilizing BIOVYN™, a bio-attributed PVC made with 100% renewable carbon, we reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% compared to conventional PVC. PLANET is phthalate-free, OEKO-TEX certified, and meets the requirements of DIN 4102 Part 1+2 for flame retardancy. It also stands out for its durability, high abrasion and UV resistance, and easy cleaning.
