Bio Faux Leather Planet
Faux Leather Reinvented – The Next Generation!
With PLANET, we combine innovation with environmental consciousness, setting new standards for sustainable materials. Our faux leather is made from renewable, natural raw materials such as tree and green waste – completely free from fossil resources like petroleum used in PVC production. Instead of fossil-based ethylene, we use ethylene derived from Crude Tall Oil (CTO), a byproduct of the forestry industry.
By using BIOVYN™, a bio-based PVC with 100% renewable carbon, we reduce greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90% compared to conventional PVC. PLANET is phthalate-free, OEKO-TEX certified, and meets the requirements of DIN 4102 Part 1+2 for flame retardancy. Additionally, it stands out for its durability, high abrasion and UV resistance, and easy cleaning.
This makes PLANET the ideal choice for demanding applications in the furniture industry, healthcare, and public institutions – both indoors and outdoors. With its environmentally friendly production process, we actively contribute to reducing our ecological carbon footprint and promote a responsible, mindful use of resources – for a more sustainable world and a better tomorrow.
